First of all, my pictures are current and I certainly hope yours are as well. PLEASE move on to the next profile if you have an outdated, or worse yet, no photo posted. Also move on if you have 25 plus pounds on you. Being athletic and a "few" pounds overweight are definitely not the same thing at that point. I want someone reasonably fit and active who has the body to reflect it. That means, by the way, NO smokers whatsoever and controlled social drinkers only.
Secondly: no creeps, no angry men, no players, no inappropriate mail, and no men who are still trying to "find" themselves.
Third: I am open and honest and not trying to hurt anyone. I believe the more I share the sooner we can arrive to that common destination: finding compatibility and companionship...and seeing what happens next.
While I'm looking for fun, I'm willing to go slow on this journey.
I do not go to bars and I've found it is difficult to meet a man at Kroger, Wal-Mart, or the library, so here I am. I retired early after some 25 years in the mental health nursing field.
I have a good sense of humor and am kind, gracious, and sweet. And though I'm quite independent (except for techno stuff!) I do want to be treated like a lady.
I am also loving, sensual, eclectic and am looking for a man who is the same who (also) has a strong work ethic (retired or otherwise) who has no money issues/worries, no criminal history and no hangups with previous relationships.
You should also like yourself. After all, if you don't like yourself, why should I?
A sense of humor, education, and intelligence are also major turn ons, as is self confidence. But please don't confuse any of this with cockiness or bravado. All are VERY unattractive.
I am 5'2" and weigh not quite 100# of sexy muscle. But wouldn't you know it...I like my men a bit on the tall side. I realize I risk sounding "picky" but I've saved us both a lot of questions and time. If you want someone who is real and lives by the Golden Rule, if not overtly religious per se, then give me a shout. No matter what, thanks for reading this and good luck (to all of us.)
One last note, I'm not really into long distance relationships and prefer someone in a 50 mile radius. However if you are willing to drive I'm willing to balance my life for a time and see where things go.
